Question on Discus "poop"

I have two discus pair in one of my 38 gallon tanks all my para's are fine, there is powder like substance on the bottom of the tank and not much black/brown feces. I treated them for 5 days with Metronidazole because one had white feces and seemed fine after the meds were stopped. There physical appearance seems good. They are acting fine not sure what could be the problem.

Do you have snails in the tank?

How often do you change water? My discus' poo falls apart after a couple days. It can be different depending on diet too. Are they eating well?

No snails, bare bottom tank. 38 Gallon tank change twice a week now there are 4 discus separated in tank. Two mating pairs.

Yes, they are eating well no problems. Feeding bloodworms at night and cichlid flakes in the morning.

I wouldn't worry too much if everything seems ok. Watch closely for awhile.
