hey all..just a quick question.
I just picked up a Xp3..so far i really like it...its so quiet!
anyway...when setting it up..i placed the heater parallel to the spray bar at the top of the tank...so the heater is about 4 inches under the water line with the spray bar being 2 inches under water line.
my thinking was this: 1. with the close proximity of the two..it will help move the heated water around faster..and 2. it makes the tank look better by not having the heater in the middle of the tank.
am i correct in thinking this? or is this not a good idea.
oh and one more quick question...how have you guys/gals hidden the ugly green intake tube from the xp3? my tank has black background so it sticks out like no other.
thanks!
