question on stocking

There is no hard rule to the number of fish. It will depend on the size and types of fish that you place in the tank. Do you have any ideas on what you want to put in the tank? This would be a good place to start.

What kind of fish? What kind of filtration (ie, skimmer, # of rock, powerheads, etc)? What kind of maintenance?

If you want medium fish, no bigger than 4-5 inches, you could easily put in 3-4. Or, one bigger fish. Or 6-7 smaller fish. Or 4-5 smaller fish, and one that's 5-6 inches. Several options, but we can't really help without knowing the answers to the above questions.

well .. mostly .. i wanna have small fishes in the tank. like say those that are under 2 inches .. but i would want like a larger fish of say 4 inches ? to be the center of attention. its fowlr .. i have about 18 - 20 KG of live rock and a few anemones.. currently i have 1 unidentified damsel (its pinkish brown) a yellow watchman goby. a blue cheek goby and a red firefish, a false percula clownfish, and a juvenile dragon wrasse. all around or under 2 inches. umm mine is a overflow setup with the sump built into the side of the tank. two powerheads running.. 1 2500 L/hr one as the main powerhead. and a small one as the xtra .. i am looking for generally peaceful fish
