question with my KH numbers

My testing kit displays KH in terms of ppm, but all of the charts used to determine co2 content are in some other scale for KH.

how do i take a 300ppm KH reading and apply it to the CO2 charts linked to in the CO2 sticky topic?

Divide 300ppm by 17.86 or something awful close to that.

I had the same problem. My test kit gave me ppm, but all the formulas used dK (German degrees of KH). I searched Google and got many hits stating to divide the ppm number by either 17.8 or 17.9 depending on the source. HTH.

I'll confirm, it's 17.86

Or if you don't like division you can multiply it by .056
