Hi My tank is up and running again.. But since we put it all back together i have noticed what looks almost like SNOW on the glass on and on my return powerheads.. also there seems to be "Grass like algea growing on some of my live rock.. is this good or bad?
Thanks

Did you swish the rock around in a tub of water? Sounds like some detritus was disturbed and is floating around. You should be able to wipe it away fromt eh galss, and it will settle to the substrate. Shouldn't be a problem.

For the algae--there are a number of macro-algaes out there, some look a bit like grass...Might be one of them. No gaurantees. Wait a week and see what happens--it's unlikely, IMO, to be anything bad.

Well the white stuff has turned brown but my Dotty back? dwarf angel seems to be eating some of it.. So .. Someone mentioned it was Diatom Algea. Anyone know how to cure this? also my skimmer is filling up with dark green water.. almost daily is this normal or should i be doing something different..
Also how long can you leave saltwater mixing..?

Your diatom algae will go away. It is part of the new tank syndrome. Maybe try to turn your skimmer down a little bit to get a thicker skimmate. Remember if your skimmate smells horrid your skimmer is working.

I bought the complete set up used.. it has been running for 2 yrs. So unfortunately i don't have an manuals on the equipment.. how do i turn down the skimmer.. Air in take valve? Also i noticed last night it was filled with clear water.

What kind of skimmer is it? See if there is a website for the brand you have. Other than that, I am only familiar with the prizm. I turn the air intake vavle on that.
