Questions about snails?

My Loaches went to a new home this weekend. Unfortunately they left some of their snackies in the tank. How can I get rid of the pond snails naturally and can I have any cool snails in my tank with 8 cories and 11 neons?

most snails will do fine with those tankmates assuming you have the room bioload wise. To keep the pond snail numbers down, don't overfeed, do lotsof gravel vacs, and pick and squish.

I am not very good in the squishing department. I usually just haul them back out to my ponds. I am just getting lazy I guess. I miss my Loachies but I know they have a better home now.

lol... I still cringe when i think about taking msj's advice and crushing a snail, 1 time and scarred for life! eww.....

i agree with jinkzd. you can also bait and remove.

fish will often eat crushed snails, mmmm escargot!
