Quick opinion needed on cory cat breeding.

Here is a picture of the parents. I focused around one of them specifically because I am not sure it is C. Aeneus and I am wondering if anyone knows what is it.

What would be recommended for the next species to breed? something a bit harder/rarer(need to buy of a breeder) but not to an extreme. Just looking for ideas :D also, anyone recognize the cory in the pictures above?

Bah another question and too late to edit...

When would you feel comfortable moving them with the adults? I am confident they are large enough to not be eaten. However, I want to make sure they are able to pack themselves full of food still.. I guess what I am asking is when does their rapid growth end.

I just found 2 cory fry in my tank. I have the albino cory from Redkahuna. This was unexpected so I am trying to raise the fry for the first time on my own too. I am feeding them shrimp pellets and some of Hikari first bites as well as some Meat Mania Flakes from Kensfish. These are about the size of newborn platy fry so guessing not very old. No yolksac either. I can tell they are cory by the looks of them but they so resemble a tadpole with their fat bellies. LOL

congrats on the lil cories!

might i suggest one of the bolder/brighter colour cories (whew! say that ten times fast, lol) to try breeding next? orange lasers?????

I was definitely thinking something bolder/brighter.
Something a little rare too. I think orange lasers are a variation of Aeneus though.
Anyone recognize the light green cory?Just a lighter aeneus?

Anyone have any ideas on when moving them to a 55gallon for the extra water volume outweighs the ease of feeding in a 10gallon when doing daily 50% water changes?

Thanks for the replys

We have three of these guys too. They developed a beautiful green color where the yucky bronze was. I dont know if it is what they are supposed to do or if it has something to do with the algae sticks/wafers we feed them..
Anyone able to confirm this?

(btw, we just got our first batch of peppered cory eggs today! )
