quick plec question

Im sure this has been asked 50million times but, Is there a "small" pleco? Something that would do well in a 30gallon with corys as fellow bottom dwellers? Thanks for any help.

Quick edit, tank is well established and heavily planted with 2 driftwood "caves"

bristlenose pleco would do alright in that setup, as they only get to be about 5 inches or so. i have one myself with my 9 cories and they do just fine together. and since you already have driftwood in the tank, it's a good setup for a bn pleco, as they love to rasp wood.

BN is a good choice look at the posts by Debbi, I think her BNs grow up to 4inches
 
There are actually quite a few plecos that stay under 6". Check out the catalog list at planet catfish for a list of plecos and their max sizes. Good luck.
 
I agree on the bristlenose. I raise my baby plecos and baby sterbai cories together and the adult tanks all have various large groups of cories in them. And that 5" of bristlenose length includes their tails. Their bodies are rarely over 3.5-4". Very peaceful fish and hard worker!

Not sure if anyone has suggested the rubber-lip. Incredibly good sale on them right now at Petsmart. $1.00....and is also one of the smaller full-grown plecos at 4-5 inches.
