Quick question about pH test kit

Someone gave me a bottle of Bromothymol Blue indicator solution (1.25 oz) to test for pH, but there's no directions on how many drops/ml to use. I've even checked on the makers Aquarium Pharmaceutical site, but no luck. Anyone with the same brand who could help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

If you have an API test tube, their directions are to fill to the line with tank water, then add 3 drops and shake. Just not sure if your solution is exactly the same as theirs, or if it will react the same.

If it is the API test bottle, then use 3 drops per 5ml
