quick tank question

i got a 20 gallon tank from GF family about 2-3 mths ago and everything is fine. the only thing is the tank doesnt hav a rim at the top. the tank did come with a kinda lid with a light but it just sits ontop of the tank and a few times the light has almost fallen into the water. i was wondering does anyone know of a place i can buy a rim for the top of the tank, or any DIY tht might wrk. srry if i explaind myself poorly.....

i think your best bet without having the light fall in the water is to get something like PC's where you can attatch legs to it. the legs use the outer rim of the tank so really theres no chance the light could fall in.

If you're confident in your DIY skills, you might be able to fashion some handmade edges.

oh yeah, u can also just hang the lights from the ceiling so they arent even touching the tank.

well im not tht confident, and i live in an apt so i dont have the ability to hang from the cieling. i was hopping to buy one. this will be for looks as well as for function. well ill prob hit up home depot and see if i can come up with something. or fashion some sort of rim out of rocks and sticks(jk). well thx for the replies
