Quiet Pump for 100 Gal

Quiet pump recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Presently running a Iwaki MD40 750 gph at 4' head and the noise level is unacceptable. All plumbing is 3/4" PVC with pump pulling from undergravel filter and pushing Lifegard mechanical, heater, UV, and chemical modules. I have been considering purchasing a Quiet One 4000HH with 980 gph with max head of 13 ft but recently discovered several bad reviews for this pump complaining about noise among other problems.

System is located in living room and pump noise disturbes all other activities.

Please recommend quieter pump.

I have the same pump and it is a little loud, but not too loud. If you are getting noise from vibration of the pump on the floor, try putting a gel pack under it(the kind you put in the freezer and use in coolers). I did this with a mouse pad on top of the gel pack to prevent it from being puctured by the pump, and it works very well.
