Thanks folks...not sure if I'm going to use it but its free and the black sand is like $20+ for a 20 pound bag.

I use this sand and I only rinse it like 2 times and the water comes out clear after the second one. I get it a home depot tho.
The Lowe's sand is the same stuff I use in half of my 20 long. It's very natural tan color, and looks great. I did have to wash it about 10 times first though. I didn't want to use sand because I like to vacuum my substrate well, and some sand does get sucked up. Instead of pouring it down the drain or on my outside plants, it stays in the bottom of the bucket so I just scoop it out and reuse it.
