Quit my job, time to %#@* some people off.

I don't like burning bridges.

this is the bit I can't reconcile with the rest of the thread...but hey if you have the time and the energy I'm not going to knock another man's racket.

hopefully you find a job where you will be less inclined to bother with this kind of stuff - anyway the 2 months notice has expired now so good to go; wish you luck.

Yeah. We just like messing with each other. Its actually the best part of the job. We all have a good time doing it, and we're all on the receiving end sometimes. Actually, moral has improved as we started loosing up and dropping the corp. attitude a few months ago. Previously, people called off all the time because they dreaded coming to work at 7am. Now they don't exactly look forward to it, but they don't mind being there and putting up with minor headaches that occur doing retail sales.

And with the guy's computer, we just leave it like that until he says something, then we put everything back for him. I thought about getting more of them and scattering them around the store, but since everyone there knows about them, it loses its novelty.

My last day there is a week from today, gonna miss all my employees, but my office is right next door. So I'll still be meeting them up for after-work bar visits. And many of painters, that I've become friends with, have also invited me to diner, drinks, fishing, and future Bears games, so I'll miss them too.
