I make them. I mix a gelatin based food comprised of liquid marine algae, dried spirulina powder, dried chorella powder, and other goodies as available. I make frozen sticks out of them like a lipstick, and paint it onto 250º rocks, and then put them back in the oven for about 5 minutes to dry out. The result is a fairly long lasting natural stone with prepared food that the gobies love.

I've been working on something sort of similar for my otos and it's going pretty well, but I didn't think of baking it. I'll have to give that a try!
