Rain, Rain, Go Away

The thrill and joy of integrated circutry. Maybe we could hit a Tim's (that's :coffee2: for you folks south of the border)

I'll take a lrg jst crm, wth cnmn rll pls.

Back on topic, there were heavy T-storm & tornado warnings posted for York region today.

You need to get yourself a camera cell phone! All that water reminds me of July 17-18, 1996 when in Northern IL, we have over 18 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. Then to top it off, my father-in-law died at 6 AM on July 18th as I was trying to keep our sumps running and water from crashing through our basement windows. Will never forget that, ever! Glad we now live on a steep hill (top of). We got 4 inches of rain yesterday, that was more than we had for the whole summer! But no flooding, fortunately! Hope your basement is okay, use big fans to dry out any carpeting that gets wet. Good job on you radio!

Whoah rain! We JUST had a day of light rain after 30+ straight days of sunshine!
Looks like Vancouver's usual rainy weather has gone somewhere else for the 3rd year in a row ;)

Glad you were able to resucitate the radio!! :dive:
We have basements here too....it's farther south they become cellars...and you drink pop...

There are certain other things that get stranger the farther south you go in the states..the inclination to think the civil war outcome is still in question, the choice of which family member to have a significant relation ship with, fondness for manufactured housing on wheels.. :joe:
Check out Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a redneck if..." stuff. It's pretty right on.
This starts somewhere in southern Illinois, and reverses when you get to Florida. I have been past the point which it starts...just not sure where it is. Pretty sure some line across the state below Springfield and the Champaign-Urbana area.
