is it posible to keep a pair of rams and some Boesemani Rainbows in a planted 10 gallon? if so how many?

I think you could probably keep a pair of rams, but wouldn't keep any rainbows with them in a tank that small. Also, I don't think there are any rainbows that can be kept in a ten gallon tank (even without the rams) b/c they are a schooling fish (i.e.-at least 5) and need plenty of space to swim, as I have heard Roan (our resident rainbow expert) say in another thread. However I might be wrong about this, so someone feel free to correct me if this is the case.

A 10g tank is way too small for one Boesemani rainbowfish, let alone a proper school. You need a minimum of 45g for a school of six and I don't recommend keeping them in any lesser quanitity. They are very active schooling fish that need room to move and the company of their own species.

if you check some resourses on these fish you'll find out most people recommend a larger tank... Rams also like more space... like min. 20 gallons
