Hey Greggz - glad to see this info!


1 - if you had it all to do over again what would you change?
2 - which bows are your favorite? (I was thinking of only getting 3 kinds as it will be a community tank)
3 - what is the bow at 1:18 next to the tourquoise at the top of the screen - purple and reddish?
4 - I unfortunately don't have an lfs. Do you know good online sellers of bows?

1. The only change would be a bigger tank. But the 70 tall fits nicely into my den.
2. If I could only get three, it would be Boesemani, Blue, & Running Creek (yellow). That being said, I really like having a lot of colors in the tank.
3. That's a Goyder River. It is not purple. It is actually gold, black, and red. I think the video plays a trick on you there.
4. I bought mine locally. Can't help you there.

The wood came from a LFS here in SE Michigan. This particular store has lots of large pieces.

When i first got it, it was a floater. I ended up screwing suction cups into three spots, and stuck it to the bottom of the tank. It took quite awhile for it to stop wanting to float.

That, Sir, is an absolutely amazing tank! Ive always loved Rainbows and hope to one day have a setup like that. Those Boesemani are some of the most vibrantly colored specimens ive ever seen...same goes for the Blues. This makes me want to put some of my fish from the 55 in the 39 so that i can get a few Boesemani.
