I thinking about getting a Rainfordi Goby for a fowlr 75 gallon but wanted to know if these are sand sifters/burrowers and if so, how much. Different books and sites say different things. I read somewhere, don't remember where, that some gobies burrow so much under the rocks that they cause the rocks to get unstable and fall and that the rocks should be directly on the glass bottom to avoid this. I guess that makes sense but I'm not planning on rearranging the tank anytime soon.
Anyone had any experience with this or with the rainfordi?

They will burrow a little, but not enough to topple rocks. They'll dig out little indentations or caves under a rock.

They're quite secretive, for a while, once being introduced to a new tank and they only eat algea.
