Raising baby Convicts?

I worked tonight and there are still several babies in there with the momma fish. The daddy fish got sold. But my babies I have at home are already like twice the size of the ones we have in the tank at the store. Of course, we're not feeding them specifically, since we're not even supposed to leave them in there. We did take a few out and put in our (against store policy) fry tank we have in the back. We've got mollies and guppies and platys OH MY! And now convicts too. LOL I don't know what they're going to do with them, I guess give them away to whoever wants to take them.

Anyway, it's so fun watching my little guys grow! How long will it take for them to become recognizable fish? My husband still refers to them as the invisible fish in the 10 gallon tank he wants me to get rid of. :silly:

My two convicts just had fry about 3 weeks ago. I've just been crushing up flake food between my fingers and it is usually small enough for them to eat. I don't think I've had a single death yet, with about 100 I'd guess. A store near me will also take them for credit, but I'll probably end up feeding some to my JD too. Mine are still pretty small, but they've maybe tripled their size since they were first swimming.
