Hi,

I have some african nightcrawlers which i raise in plastic bins.
i'm planning to put them in a big Cement pond.
the problem is it receives sunlight. will they be ok if i cover it with a canvas? or newspapers to shield them from the sun?

I neee da bigger space for my worms. since i'm not producing enough for my fishes.

do you have drainage holes in the bins they are in now? im worried the big pond wont drain enough for them unless you put a layer of gravel at the bottom or something along those lines; but ive never done anything that big. how many of them are you going through right now because im thinking those commercially made worm farms or a big trough made out of lumber can produce a lot of worms if raised and harvested reasonably.

thanks!
i started with half a kilo of worms.
the pond isn't rally that big its 4 x 3 x 2 ft :)
i'll try to put some gravel at the buttom .

i'm not sure how much worms are in my plastic containers right now. but i feel they are not enough to be fed to my fish...

just wondering are red wigglers easy to raise and multiply faster than nightcrawlers?
