Raising pH Mechanically

that'll be too much of a pain. whats your DIY setup like? 1 2L botle? 2 2L bottle? other?

on your DCr that you posted up....If your DC looks like the far left that is very bad, 2nd from the left isnt so good either, you want to be in the middle.

This thread is starting to get a little confusing, sorry. Im gone for the weekend, hope everything works out.

Ok here are the results

When I got home (yesterday), I tested the tank first those results were a little better 6.4 from atleast 6.0

Tested water straight from tap....7.0
Tested water out of tap left over night....7.6

I tested the water this morning after being told to disconnect the Co2 overnite, 2hrs after turning on the lights 7.0

I did a 30% water change, just because of the wood still leaching a little bit.

I bought Tetra 7.0 stabilizer, I only disolved 1 tablet in a cup and then poured into the tank. I want to maintain 7.0 no more no less. I did one lastnight and 1 today after the water change.

no stabilizer...
6.0 is very acceptable in your tank.
starting at 7.6...
add wood/... 7.0 is very feasible, lower is likely
add co2 and 6.0 should be right on time

he's dead on and that's what you should be working on at this point. nothing really is anything alarming.

In the tank
KH 6
GH h

same range as above....Does this sound OK, sry not up on GH KH
i think your gh reading in the tank is off a bit. :lol2:

other than that you look fine to me.

yup... perfect timing for a typo....
