I posted recently that I was thinking of adding about 5 cardinal tetras to my 25 gal. which already includes
1 Dwarf flame gourami
3 blackskirt tetras
2 serpae tetras
4 panda corys
2 siamese algae eaters
but after reading some of your posts that blue ram fish looks exceptionally beautiful!!
The question is, how would the ram get along with the gourami who is already "king of the hill" and also I know male gouramis don't get along w/eachother but do male rams?
water perameters are
temp 78
ph 6.8-7
no2 -0
no3 >5
ammonia - 0
I will also be adding a piece of bog wood shortly which might lower the ph minimally. Suggestions would be great! Thanks!!

Generally speaking, you should not have an issue with your dwarf gourami and your rams as long the tank is big enough. The rams will stay nearer to the bottom of the tank. You need to have enough bottom territory for them though. What are the dimensions of your tank?

i think it is a really good idea to add new structure and new fish at the same time.i would add 4 more serpae instead of the cardinals.my next additions are going to be a male and female blue ram.i will wait until i go to 55g from my 25g.

I would not suggest adding the rams or tetras to the tank right now. You will end up being overstocked and have issues from that. You are already pretty close to a full stock. Wait until you get a larger tank before getting the rams or get another tank just for the rams. A 29g would be the size to get for them.
