Rams and guppies?

I have 4 tuxedo guppies and 2 otos in a planted 10 gal tank...I was wondering about adding 1 german blue ram. Would this be ok?
My biggest concern is that my water consistently tests a little bit on the hard side, but my local LFS has them, so i wasn't sure if they added something to the water?

You cant have rams in anything less than a 20g.

They would probably be fine together though. If you could get a 20g and add the ram and maybe some other fish, it would look great.

No. A 10 gallons will even give the ram an opportunity to nip the guppies' tails. No room for them to escape the ram.
