One of my tanks is a 20 gallon high (23" wide,12" deep, and 16" high), planted with small, low FAKE plants. In the tank is a mature angel, 2 Gold Rams, 1 smaller albino bushynose catfish.
I wanted to add 2 Blue Rams, but have been advised against that. Since the tank looks empty (but peacefull) would it be overcrowding to add another 2 Gold Rams or would that be looking for trouble ?

Thanks for your input

yea- i feel like a jerk having 2 in my 14 tall.... but I just love them too much- pretty fishes.

I do not understand the purpose of this thread. In the third week of July you started this thread: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=200782 which is essentially the same exact question that you received multiple answers to from people with experience. Are you looking for someone with no experience to tell you that you can go ahead and safely add another pair of rams? Why not just put the rams in the tank and see what happens since you don't seem to believe the people that posted in your previous thread telling you that it was no doubt a bad idea to introduce more rams to the tank?

A little trouble with adding Gold rams and more trouble with adding GBRs and even more trouble if you ask this questions again:nono: :):popcorn:it seems.

Sometimes you ask a question and you will not like the answer, which I think is normal.
There are limits of what you can do with your fish tank, that is why sometimes you end up with more then one.
The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that the answer came from someone who has the experience and can guide you in the right direction.
You can collect several views on the subject and ultimately make a decision.
This system works and works well, from what I see.
Personally I have been helped plenty of times in the number of years that I posted questions on AC.

I am sorry that I offended you by adding a "twist" to my original question. I was trying to find out if adding BLUE rams woiuld be different than adding GOLD rams. I was not trying to search for someone that would say OK even ikf it were not true..............SORRY. My intent, even if the two of you did not realize it, was to be safe and not sorry

I'm sorry I didn't answer your question in the "proper manner", but
you do realize that they are the exact same species, just a different color pattern right? I assumed that this was pretty common knowledge that you should have learned much earlier in researching these fish.
