Is a pair of blue rams a nice addition to a 20 gallon community tank? I want to make sure that they will not be too aggressive towards the other fish.

I have blue rams and they are just fine in a community tank. They pretty much ignore the other fish. They can get a little pushy when spawning or protecting eggs or fry...but not overly so.
Just be sure your tank is at least a 20long. You can keep a pair in a 20tall..but they're much happier with more horizontal space to spread out in.
