People on here have claimed their briggs have eated small snails although I haven't witnessed it myself- but there was one thread months back where several people said their briggs caught and ate other snails. I think this is VERY unusual though- most not being predatory.
My Spixis (type of apple) eat other snails all the time. Once I got my Spixis I started to see empty ramshorns and bladder snail shells everywhere- Later I caught the spixis in the act- something I've witnessed many times since. (they won't eat MTS or QMs though). They're not as effective as Assassin snails- but between them (ghosts and dwarf crays eat tiny snails in my tank too) bladder snails have been made almost extinct in my tank... every once in a while I see one- once upon a time I was over-run with them.
I've seen a juvie spixi attacking and eating a Ramshorn that was perhaps 50% bigger than he was.
So, yes, some apple snails will eat other snails.
