Mantis shrimp eat clams. They smash them open with their claws. Their claws are as strong as a 22 callibur bullet.- thats why when they hit you, it hurts. They are the strongest animal on the planet for their size.

Mantis shrimp also eat seahorses. I worked at a place with a 500G SW rank that had a white mullet, a burfish, 20 mummichugs and five seahorses. We added a mantis shrimp and in two days we had one seahorse and only ten mummichugs. That thing had a feast!
Some species of mantis shrimp are also capable of shattering glass with their boxer like claws.
