No offense to Calvivarium I am not trying to step on ones toes. what if you don't want anything but just want to offer up something you have. Do you have to wait until someone takes Calvivarium's offer before posting? I am trying to better understand how this works. Great thread!

I know if an offer has been sitting around a while someone else sometimes puts up their own offer under the stipulation that the next person is allowed to either take both current offers or whichever they like best.

yes, BUT I wish someone would do something !! it seems a tad unfair to me that what is listed , I know its all put up what you have, but to get a 20+dollar package, and then throw up somthing that is worth excatly what you are asking in shipping, its just not going anywhere.... I only hope someone adds to this offer, to get this thread going again . maybye now that the offer'er has the roaked item they could throw somthing back out of that , maybye that they did not need/want . I know we ALL have cheamicals laying around, equipment we dont use, this is what we need to add in because thier are several people that can use are old stuff !! ~~ :) I will look around and see if I have anything , BUT I have been so generious latley in ALL my sales, giving away freebies & xtras , I dont think I can afford to ship it out this time .. I will have to wit and see if someone else like me :) , throws up something to add to this offer to get things rolling again , I see in the very beginning thier were items added to very nice roaks already ... double win !! wish one of those could jump in now ........... and I would , but as I mentioned I have been roaking in ALL my sales and I am tapped out ATM, maybye when I get my paycheak , I can do somehting more :) ~~ everyone knows I have alot of junk to get rid of ...LOL ~~
 
Can I ask what the procedure is for contact someone offering an item? I contacted someone (twice, politely) and never got a reply back. Did I miss a hidden set of rules that state
"You must be this old, been a member this long, have this many feedbacks" or something?

Also may I ask is it wrong if I post an offer, and continue to post items adding to that offer as I come across them??? (say spring cleaning) I have tons of stuff I have laying around (food for critters I don't own, decorations I don't use, etc etc, etc)

Eh, sounds like you followed procedure just fine to me. There was one member in the RAOK thread that never responded to any of my PM's, but I didn't worry too much since I figured maybe she just wanted to put something up without taking my offer.

Yeah, you can keep adding to your raok. If you come up with a huge pile though, it might be better to split it up due to the rule that the next person needs to offer something close in value to the offer they take. :)

Well I haven't taken anything yet. I can't seem to contact the poster? Noticed she has been online. I tried twice, unsure why I didn't get a reply tho.

I have no idea what stuff is worth to people. But know nothing appears to be cheap now-a-days. I will just start keeping a large box and adding to it as I go along. Maybe someone will pick and choose and put together their own package(s) by the time I actually finish cleaning house :lipssealedsmilie:
