Rattie and Aquarium!

I took a few shots of my male rat, Dude. Some are just him, some are him in front of my aquarium. Also is a picture of one of my hermit crab who managed to flip himself upside down! I didn't get a picture of it fast enough, but when he was staring at my fish tank, my angelfish (who's in this tank temporarily) as was checking him out and following him around as he moved in front of the tank. Also the last picture is a picture of him stealing the keys to the locks that lock the doors on his cage (as a 'just in case'). Also, sorry that the last one is blurry, he was making a run for it after he grabbed them, lol.

Lol, that hard water stain of a rat is cute! It looks like it has a heart above its head!

And my rattie has a girl friend, but the catch is that she is a she and he is a he. I have them separated for now, and I'm looking for a vet who will fix rats so that I can have them together. If I can't I'm going to buy them both a friend or two. I have also had them seperated long enough to make sure she wasn't pregnant. I've had them seperated for 4 weeks now, and usually rats will have babied around 3, 4 at the most. So I'm giving her another week.

And yes he is VERY shiny! He's a cream color, but in some lights he is so shiny he looks like a silver grey color! I should take some cute pictures of the girl too. The only thing i she likes to be in her cage. When I let her out she just goes back in and that's it, lol.

Awww, what a darling! Rats are so cool- I have two girls, Trixie and Pepper. Rats are the pet of the future, I tell ya. Smart, social, easy to keep. The only downside is that they don't live all that long.
