u live in japan???? awesome! and try lightning bugs, earwigs, or small strips of chicken meat. and what kinda fish is this again? no letters, a FULL NAME.

Red Belly Pirahna!

my turn : Red Bellied Piranha!! :D I will definetly continue with some interesting foods, and see how it goes, so far so good. I think he would eat a rock if i told him it was food :D

A few weeks ago I'm sitting here at the computer, reading stuff at AC, and I hear my husband open up the hood to my goldfish tank, then start laughing after about 30 seconds...I lean over to look around my monitor and see what he's doing, he's giving my goldfish little chunks of SPAM!
They of course wolfed it right down. The only thing I've tried giving them that they spit out was canned spinach. I'll have to try the bugs hanging around the porch light thing. It really doesn't surprise me anymore what these goldfish will eat. My biggest one has gotten so fat we just call him 'Jack the Fat One-Eyed Ba$tard'. Lovingly, of course...:D

I wouldn't risk it - the lucibufagins contained by Photinus spp. have been confirmed to pose severe health risks to herpetiles and birds; their ingestion, in many cases, results in death.

My suggestions: juvenile silver arowana, discus, and caecilians ("rubber eels") - all quarantined and gut-loaded, of course.

Or better yet, I can just give wave a bloody 10 dollar bill in front of his face......I don't think so......unless of course, they were donations :D which reminds me that he and his buddy ate a 8 inch pleco (then he ate his buddy :( )
