Terribly sorry to hear that. These things are unfortunate, but I certainly understand how you feel. Just get things corrected and start again

so ensues a new chapter in my tanks life, only lost the clowns, found resonably priced replacements
took the oppertunity to change out the sand because i hadnt really been happy with it since i put it in , it was like a sand/ cc mix so now i got nice uniform oolite back in my tank. As a side note I found sand sifting snails that ive been looking for forever. dumb luck that i also raised the height of my sand bed on top of that, so they have dissapeared and i also have my 12 galon empty up and running right now so it makes moving things around in my tank easier as i am gonna go to a more u shaped rock structure as my mound is getting very difficult to find flt spots to put coral on
