I've been keeping RCS for about 2 months and after losing them to Endler attacks, I rehomed the fish. They seemed much happier so I tried some blue tigers and orange eyed blondes. After only a week in my tank everyone seemed to be thriving. On Sunday I bought some Purigen to put in the filter and on Monday males were swimming all over the place. I thought they were dying but on Monday night began noticing berried females! As of now I have 3 berried RCS and 2 berried tigers. Could the Purigen have taken something out of the water that was bothering them. Didn't have a nitrite or ammonia problem but wasn't sure about nitrates. Anyway I have baby crays and berried shrimp............This is fun!

I hope if they hatch, they survive. I have a half inch baby dwarf cray that made it from the last batch. He lives in the stones on the tank bottom and has really grown.

I took a pic of a newborn cray hatched today about the size of a question mark. I'll try to upload them. Not good at this.

LOL, shrimp baby pictures are a bit more difficult than human baby pictures, though they both tend to get, 'Ohhhh loook at the baaabyyy'. ;)
