I think my RCS are not breeding because I only have females :wall: Some have obvious saddles and some are not as red, which I thought were males. Are males clear? Everytime I go to the LFS, they only have red RCS, so now I'm worried that I won't be able to get any males because LFS probably carry females only because shrimp newbies like me only pick red ones, lol. Also, how do we tell a clear juvenile shrimp from a male? Thanks for any input.

P.S. I DID see some clear ones at one store, and the employees didn't know why all the leftover ones were clear. I thought they were stressed and lost their colour...darn! Could've been males. Now that store doesn't carry anymore clear ones.

Will shipping to Canada be OK for you guys? I live near Toronto, Ontario and here they sell them for about $3 each!

ahhh. problem with shipping to canada is that it costs a TON, and it takes a long time.I believe shipping (which would take 6 days) is around $16, or $44 for 4 day...which is still a bit long and QUITE expensive. I would search around and see if any hobbyists live in Canada and have them for sale. Best of luck!

I seem to remember that one or two members of the forum had RCS for sale in Canada (sorry I don't remember who). I wouldn't risk having them shipped from the US as it's trek though customs is generally too long and they have a good chance of arriving dead.

Try posting a WTB: Cherry Shrimp in Canada thread in the Wanted section. Shipping from the US is definitely expensive and quite a bit slower.
