I dropped some blackworms in my RCS and Red Claw Macro tank last night thinking the Macro's might eat a couple. I walked away for a couple of minutes and came back to see 2 of my RCS eating the worms! Has anyone ever seen this????

A little O.T. sorry......

You don't have the RCS in with the Red Macros do you?

Yeah, I know people say the Red Claws will eat them but they havent lowered the population at all. The RCS are still Breeding liek crazy and I've had no issues. I expected them to have a couple everynow and then but the RCS always get away and the Macro's like to grab the algae tablet pieces I drop in right away

Wow. Mine are meaner than snakes. They've killed 6 out of 8 Ghost Shrimp and one Marbled Cray of equal size that I thought (wrongly) could hold her own. :irked:

Little children of unmarried parents may get traded at the LFS for something else.

Thats unbelieveable, the ones I got came from a member here who kept them with RCS too so maybe mine were used to it? I've got 2 berried macros right now so it'll be interesting when they hatch to see what happens. The RCS seem to have lost a lot of color for some reason though.

My RCS and Ghost shrimp also eat the live blackworms that I feed my fish. I thought it was normal behavior.

My CRS like bloodworms.
