Hey all -

I have a 60g with 2 angels (about 1.5 and 2 inches) and 8 congo tetras. I picked up some RCS the other day but they were about 1/2 inch long, so I put them in my 10g (w/ neons) to grow. When fully grown, would they be able to go in my 60g or would they quickly become food?

if the tank is very densely planted they may have a chance.
but IME, RCS=Food for angels

They will become food and the Angels will eventually wipe them out.

Hmm that's what I figured. Well besides whisker shrimp, are there any recommendations for peaceful, colorful shrimp that may not be fish food?

Bamboo shrimp/Amano shrimp are really cool but are not to colorful.

I have had amano's with german blue rams and they left them alone. They get quiet large. They are more clear but they have lines on the side and have kind of a neat pattern. Here is a picture of mine. And yes they do clean algae up very well. That's why I now have 4 of them. =)

Nice! I'll see if I can look those up at my LFS. I had whisker shrimp in my small community tank. I liked how they kept it clean until I watched them catch and kill a neon before I could do anything to stop them...needless to say they were relocated.
