RCS Water Conditioner

What do you use as water conditioner for your cherry shrimp? I've been using fluval shrimp safe, but it's expensive and hard to come by so I'd like to switch to stress coat. I use stress coat with my amano shrimp, singapore flower shrimp, and ghost shrimp and haven't had a problem. I've heard that mixing water conditioners can create unsafe chemical reactions. any advice?

I use prime for all my tanks. I have also read that mixing WCs might not be good.

I use prime if I'm using tap water.

I just switched to prime from Aqueon. I have to say, the prime seems so much better, the water is cleaner IMO as there is no frothing and slimy-ness to the water after adding the dechlor. The RCS I have seem very happy with prime.
