rd problems

I have a 5 inch rd in a 29 gallon.It was in a 75 gallon with a 6 inch oscar but the rd was to aggressive.So i put it back in the 75 gallon because my mom made me.Time after time i tried introducing it to the 75 gallon but eventually i had to remove my reddevil from the 75.Would it be happy in the 75.It is a female rd.I thought about getting ita 46 gallon bowlfront or a 40 gallon would it be alright.Give some advice............or is there a way i could keep the rd and oscar together.I heard u could reduce aggression by rearanging the tank but help me out.

The Red Devil needs its own 75g by itself.

Instead of getting a 46 bowfront just get a regular 55 and put the oscar in it.

get a larger tank 150 gallons or so You could try a divider of some sort.

I mean I would say split the tank with egg-crate but then you would just have 2 big fish in basically 2 small tanks. It might work though, never tried it.

Thats what I thought too but he was asking if there was ANY way to curb the agression.

yea i decided to put the rd back in the tank.for a week to see what happens.I thought maybe she would settle down and i introduced alot of hiding spots and rock so they could divide terriotory.
