Hydrogen Peroxide...
Hopefully you are having good luck w/antibiotics. I recently put some african driftwood into my 90g planted tank which had been substantially algae free (some green algae periodically on glass) and began to see black (blue-green) algae forming quickly on Anubias, Crypts and gravel. Did some checking and came across info on Hydrogen Peroxide. I added 8oz per treatment to my 90g and within about 4 days this stuff had bleached out and was disappearing. I won't suggest specifics here but would suggest you google "hydrogen peroxide" and "aquarium" and then read through those hits regarding algae control. I found it very successful and now I routinely add around 150ml every 2-3 days. Keeps redox up...lots of bubbles...algae nearly completely gone and even green stuff is abated. Be very careful as peroxide raises my pH from about 7.0 to 7.15 and toxicity is a function of species (both flora and fauna). Start slow/small on doses and observe effects. I find it's much cheaper than meds for a 90g.
Good luck.
