Really Cheap Aquarium

back when i got my first big tank ( 75 gallon with stand ) i got it for 60 buxs. this time i have a 80 ( think its a 75 but i still say 80 cause its 22 inchces high ) for 75 bux came with a stand sump wet/dry system light and the best thing is he is my neighber and owns a fish cleaning business ( owns over 200 tanks in eau claire ) but to bad hes moving :(

if ur in WI im willing to sell ur friend my 20 gallon ( just the tank ) for 15.00 ill even add in the rest of the sand i have left... but the trick is ur friend has to come and get it tho..

Craigslist is great- got my 30 for 20 bucks. Built a fancy stand for $40, and went to the Hardware store and got a cheap sheet of acrylic to use as a lid for a few more. Lights the only problem then, but a shop light in a box can work wonders I've even used an extension cord with two plug in light sockets siliconed in place secured to the inside of a simple box made out of a 1x4. It's not the most effiecent set up as far as light out put goes, but it'll work in the short run.

Let's see, I just talked to him, and he has 75 bucks. How much would a new container, filter, substrate, and light cost? I'm giving him an old heater of mine to use.
