my xenia pulsing coral are doing bad. But what troubles me is. two sets are looking great but there are two that are closed and pieces breaking off. My water is showing good minus phosphates, which i'm clueless to where they coming from. I use r/o water. I don't over feed. I do not have a TDS tester so my units could need replacement.

my pH seems very high. 8.8 but this is what its been for some time
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 20
Ammonia - 0
Calcium - 380 will raise slowly
dKh - 9
Phospates - .25

I'd throw a couple of phosphate sponges into your sump. You might also give it a couple of drops of lugols solution. Sometimes the Iodine will help them heal.
You should also probably find the source of the phosphates perhaps a food etc. You could also have some critter living in your tank like a bristleworm etc.

Look into purchasing a TDS meter. However depending on the membrane used and the water supply r/o water can still contain small amounts of phosphate, ammonia, etc. If you added a di cartridge you could get 99% pure water.

The other option is to add a phosban reactor to your tank. I had a small amount of phosphate from feeding and red slime was starting to grow. I added the phosban reactor and it dropped of to 0 quickly. Tanks looks much better now.
