really nice looking fish

red points, they look great and once in breeding colors everyone always asks me what they are and they dont even know anything about fish. i think they are good cause they arent too expensive still not too common and they are easy to care for, grows fast and are very tough fish. i call mine my poor mans frontosas

If you can afford a 500g tank, the fish with the most wow factor is the fresh water stingray.

I've never seen a living adult electric blue. I had 3 and they all died but my one regular dempsy had no probs. The electrics I hear are a mutation and are very weak and in the wild they would all be dead. Somehow I dont see paying for a weak sickly fish ;)

Here's some pics of an adult:
Adult Elec. Blue Jack

Elec. blue jacks are a naturally occuring variant. From what I read, if the juvie elec blue jacks weren't seperated from their 'normal' siblings, they'd be killed.

Once they've been removed and reared seperately, there's no reason a responsible aquarist can't raise them to adults.

I have one that is still a juvie, but he's almost doubled in size since I first got him.

You probably did something wrong. ;)

I found these on the internet and really like them, but does anyone know anything about them (price, size, food, aggresive)?
