Really, really bad news... :(

Sorry to hear about that Ems, good luck getting a new setup :(

The siliconing wouldn't be too difficult as all the edges are straight and easily reachable. If you've never siliconed before I might be a bit wary of trying this with such a large tank.

If you search the forums you might find smoe information on placnig a new piece of glass over that one and siliconing it in place to repair it. $350 is $350 after all. Anyway, it would never hurt to look and then see if you felt comfortable with it, right?

Based on the fact that the crack is so near the hole, I'd be hesitant to try a repiar. Sorry, but I think the only way to trust it would be to put a replacement piece on the inside, which would involve removing the sump and having the replacement drilled. Even then, attaching the bulkhead is going to be complicated--you'd likely end up needing to seal along the crack on the outside as well to prevent leakage through the crack. Bummer!

Yeah repairing seems complicated. Thanks for the suggestions though.
I'm no handywoman here but I'll run the idea by Brad and see what he thinks.

Man what a nightmare....sorry to hear about that.

Sorry to hear about it Ems. Hope everything works out for ya.

oooohhhh... Sorry to hear that... hopefully all ur fish will make it through...

Is this a glass or an acrylic tank? Seeing the rounded corners on the overflow I assume it is an acrylic tank. I would not trust any silicone on an acrylic tank since silicone and acrylic don't bond well. If you want piece of mind get a new tank. Rather 350 spent now on a new tank then ripping out the flooring again in 6 month because it started leaking again.
