Please note below that is not the proper technique for handling, but I had to get the angry mother out quickly without getting stung because she was killing some of her babies.

Awesome! I love scorpions.

Yikes!

How many babies are there?

in my most recent brood, 9 babies are remaining. Before I scooped the mum in this tank up, she killed several overnight after birthing them. Those babies have been moved to the juvenile setup, and are all doing fine.:tombstone:

I've been breeding Pandinus Imperator lately due to decreased population in the wild due to over collection.

My next breeding project is the Tailless Whip Scorpion. Although there's no endangerment and it's not in demand like Pandinus Imperator, it's EXTREMELY interesting and unique.

Wow thats really cool!! Shame about her trying to kill them :(

Also, that tailless whip scorpian is a weird looking creature. Ive neevr seen anything like it! :)

I want an scorp one day...

Nice Pandinus Imperator, we have two and one my husband says is a gravid female. Although I think I'll pass on the Tailless Whip Scorpion. Right now we have 7 scorpions and I'm trying to hold him to just 7, not like the tarantulas that he was supposed to have 1 and some how that is now 109 tarantulas.
