Recent Pick Up

Was weeding out the females out of my all male tank (finally vented all) to trade them in for new fish, took back 2 to the lfs so far, taking the last one in tomorrow.

Anyways here's one of the trade ins, Aulonocara sp. "Dragon Blood":

You can see part of the 3" johannii in the first pic to kinda get a feeling of its size the peacock is less than an inch long.

are you getting them at brooklyn zoo? why just a male tank? why not breed up some numbers?

They are from the one on utica right across the glass place is pretty nice.
All their tanks are extra clean, got a beautiful display of sw stuff.. Only if they kept other fish in their stock.. or perhaps some plants..

Nah these are coming from 1000 island aquarium, they've really cleaned up their african tanks, nice clean fish too in their own species tanks.

I thought about doing a red zebra/socolofi or afra tank with orange/blue fish, but the thought of dealing with fry is not that appealing.
