i have a male and female and today i noticed that the male ate one of my cory cats. the barb is stuck through the bottom of his mouth.

will he die if i dont get the cory or is it ok?

How long has it been stuck - I'd say you need to get the cory out of his mouth, if the barb has gone through the lower lip. Doesn't sound he will cough it up or complete the murder.

OK - I'd still consider what you have in the tank - if he's eating corys he's not going to stop doing that.

Equally, make sure and keep your water pristine - nitrates below 20 - for the next while, to prevent the wound from becoming infected.

Red Bay Snooks can get 18in plus keep what ever can fit in it's mouth out of that tank!

we have moved the corys to another tank so that the snook are by them selfs.

we are also trying to breed them so maybe that will help
