I use in my breeder tanks:
algea wafers for grazing, a few drops of snail milk, a couple drops of iodine, and a couple drops of calcium. ... they are in a 20 Long with driftwood and live plants, with a bubbler filter (basicly a sponge filter lol), and like usual... other then that just selective breeding.
