Hello all,

I have a large Red Devil and a large Jaguar Cichlid, I was told the Jaguar was a female and the Devil was a male, but even when the Devil is in a tank on its own it lays eggs, they share a cave together and always have, now i have loads of eggs a couple are white but they have been there for about 2 days now and the Jaguar is protecting them away from the Albino Oscar and Jack Dempsey, Does anyone know if they have bread these two type of fish together? i think they would be great - very aggressive fish.

please respond. thanks

if the Devil is laying eggs, and the Jag is also a female...I think you have a problem.....probably a lot of unfertilized eggs.....

Would this be like Jungle Fever?

the Jag looks female IMO. It also appears to be holding eggs in that picture. Can you get a better picture perhaps? Preferably the vent area?

Nice looking fish.
