Hey everyone. I'm new here and have a question. I have my 6 inch red devil in my 55 gallon tank with four african cichlids under an inch and one molimo cichlid around two inches. these fish being in the tank with my red devil will not stunt his growth will they? he is agressive twoards them but is not able to catch them. but my main concern is him. any ideas?

Thanks alot!

soon the 55 will only hold a devil

as long as you have good filtration and heavy water changes it will not be stunted. Assuming you are providing a good diet and adequate water parameters.

some people will say a 75gis minimum for a foot long fish but no one will say a 55g will stunt the fish so my point is you can more then likely get by for life with that fish in that tank alone. it will kill any other fish once its older. maybe you can sneak a raphael but dont quote me on that
