Red eye puffers talk to me about em

the cories might be eventually hurt. if they are hurt, it won't be quickly or severely enough to amuse you.

this has to be the worst thread I've ever come across on here... I mean seriously...

i agree. thats onw of the first things that went through my mind.

Young puffers can be fairly laid back. It's generally as they get older that the aggressive territorial behavior comes out. Dwarf puffers are one of the less aggressive ones, but they will start bullying the other fish and perhaps each other given time.

Please check out www.thepufferforum.com for the most accurate information about these fish. Most puffers only eat invertebrates (think mussels, clams, shrimp, snails, etc) and do NOT eat fish. They may eat fish once in a while as a last resort, but it is highly unhealthy for them and can cause disease or even an early death.

bazil - don't think the original poster could care if his fish get diseases or die, seems to me he is basically just that kid who pulls the wings off flies or burns ants with a magnifying glass.

wow that was harsh lol.

Okay folks..lets not take this to a personal issue please. Thanks!

I was really just sharing the information in case he wanted to learn; sometimes people just don't come off sounding right when they post. It's that lack of body language and tone in writing. I don't know for sure what his situation is, but I can hopefully give a little bit of info to him and others reading the thread that might put them on the right track.

but they will kill the feeder fish right?

I just dont see the point in having fish only to get to watch them kill other fish if you have puffers

If you are all about watching a fish kill another fish get a red devil, snakehead, bowfin, knifefish.......
My red devil only gets fed pellets and stuff, but when I did put the odd feeder in he would simplyl torment the fish then rip its head off and spit it out. My knifes will inhale other fish whole. Fish eat fish, but personally im not into watching fish torment other fish I prefer it to be a fast death and if I can train my fish to eat pellet and other frozen foods I do
