Red Fin shark??

My red fin shark never eats the flakes I put in the tank.... Does he just eat like the waste and algee from in the tank?? I see him going around cleaning the stumps in my tank. just wondering THanks

I had a red tailed shark a while back. He came up to eat flakes a few times but usually he just stayed at the bottom. I guess he just ate leftover food. One night I noticed him floating around almost dead!!!!!! I didn't know what caused this cause the day before he was fine! So maybe yours will eat the flake off the bottom!

continue trying with your food... if it still doesn't eat in a few days, trying sinking food. i don't think they survive on algae n leftovers...

He is the only fish left from orginal when started this tank up bout 2 months ago.....so he must be living off something.....I can try some sinking food thanks

My RTBS loves frozen brine shrimp and shrimp pellets. Try that and see if he eats them.

my red finned shark comes up sometimes and eats flakes, other times he eats sinking algae wafers.
